It ways baffles me when people are acting like RE6 is suddenly some masterful action game. It sucks at being an action game and that's the problem. The pacing, level design, enemies, cover system, vehicle segments, inventory, shooting, story, characters, etc were all bad. RE5 AI is not as bad as some players make it out to be. Just read another a thread with a lot of posts busting on RE5's AI. But seriously, RE5 AI isn't bad, you just have to know how to work with it. Human players, on the other hand, are often a lot worse than the AI. I admit that I don't play Resident Evil games, so, I don't really know what the original version looks like. I have watched Mila Jovovich version of Resident Evil and so, I think I might probably know some basis facts. But, the moment I watched this, I found that it's totally different in a bad way. I feel like it's nothing like Resident Evil. They dropped in 6 T-103's; X was to find a G sample after HUNK was presumed dead and kill all in the police station. The other 5 were sent to the dead factory to kill the navy seals over the Demon sword or paraselsus (original 3 only). Gamespot asserted, “Netflix’s Resident Evil isn’t just the best adaptation of the zombie franchise yet. It earns the title of one of the few ‘good’ video game adaptations bestowed on the world,” while Decider lauded it as “one of the most addicting, thrilling, and delightfully unpredictable shows of 2022.”. They were going up against Call of Duty Black Ops 2, Halo 4, Assassin's Creed 3, etc. 5 and 6 are very solid made games and are very good games. But it attached Resident Evil to them, and that title reaches out to the survival horror fans. Action game wise you're going to find many titles you'll like in that genre. Pretty sure its not just that. Even as a game in general it's just bad. All the element in 6 from the ui, font, pacing and gameplay is weird. An excellent game to make example of bad design decision compiled in one game. 3. for a full price title its a joke. 10 years ago it would have been a good one but come on, its 2013 and there are better indy games out then this one. i played all resident evils in my life (play games for 40 years now!!) and never felt like this. Poor grafix, very bad voice actors, absurd bad controls and the monsters are melting away like ice. i even enjoyed raccoon city but this is really bad.
