To diagnose bad fuel injectors in your Mazda CX-3, start by performing a fuel pressure test. This test helps you determine if the issue is related to fuel injectors, a fuel pump, or a fuel filter. Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the rail and check the pressure. If the pressure is within the specified range, you can rule out the fuel pump and
What Does Code P2463 Mean? Oil dilution occurs due to failed DPF regeneration - either caused by DPF failure (they have a limited lifespan), or driving conditions unsuitable for effective DPF regen. It's a well known issue with Mazda Skyactiv-D engines, just Google "mazda diesel oil dilution" and you'll find many people in the same boat as you are.
We trusted a Mazda dealer with our 2008 Mazda 6 diesel and was ripped off completely. I suspected the DPF problem and trusted them to perform a proper diagnosis. After they charged us $1000 replacing injectors the car had sent into exact same limp mode 5 mins after leaving the dealer.

22 March 2010 at 11:23AM. Hi. I own a 2.0 Mazda 6 diesel (06 plate). When the DPF system regenerates, any unburned fuel is returned to the sump thus diluting the engine oil and giving potential for all sorts of problems. It is vital to keep checking the oil level to ensure the sump doesn't over fill. IMHO it's a silly system.
