Cold brewing, also called cold water extraction or cold pressing , is the process of steeping coffee grounds in water at cool temperatures for an extended period. Coarse-ground beans are soaked in water for about 12 to 24 hours. The water is normally kept at room temperature, but chilled water can also be used.
A controversial Nespresso patent that was revoked by the European Patent Office in 2013 following protests from rival companies. After inserting a capsule into the brewing chamber, press the short shot button and let the machine run until a drop or two of coffee begins to drip out. Quickly press the shot button again to stop the flow. Wait a few seconds and restart the extraction by pressing the button again (allowing the shot to run to completion.)

Today I tried some Baggio capsules (I'm from Brazil, don't know if you guys have those at the US) and the coffee was just CRAZY good. I had to have more than one!
You can only use Nespresso pods, and so the cost of owning the machine increases over time. Pods can be harder to source locally than the more popular Keurig capsules. Real coffee connoisseurs will find the flavor wanting. It’s fine for the average coffee drinker though. Drips a little after the brewing cycle has finished.
